Duration of the retreat
The retreat starts on May 20th at 16h. There will be an introduction followed by a dinner and an opening. The retreat finishes on 24th , at 12h after brunch.

The grace developed in the practice is simply a reflection of the true nature of the human heart, full of compassion.
This practice purifies the meridians, strengthens the spine and develops healthier muscles. It is during relaxation in the movement, and not in the effort, that the muscles are strengthen.
Qi Gong is a practice that stimulates the amount of vital energy in the body and facilitates its free circulation. It allows us to structure our body in rooting, stability and fluidity, and cultivates unity and integration.
During Qi Gong practices in nature we will start with exercises to restore calm and prepare the body. Then we will do conscious breathing exercises and stretching. After this we will continue with “the forms” or series of connected movements to cultivate a certain theme, for example, the heart and the fire element and its qualities in us.
There is one yoga class per day. The morning sessions are usually are more dynamic and after the long meditative hikes there are gentle yoga classes.
Yoga classes are progressive, variations for different levels of practice and particular limitations are always offered.
It makes us notice in each step and in each breath, that the energy that exist inside us it is just the same as the energy that exists out there. Nature is our greatest teacher, silence and deep listening helps us enrich the experience She offers.
There will be a daily 90 minute meditative walk in nature, opening the senses and developing mindfulness.
2 days will be dedicated to meditative hiking, starting just after breakfast and coming back for a gentle yoga session. It is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the wonders of the the Ordesa National Park or surrounding areas.
We practice simple techniques that are easy to carry on at home. We use universal elements to all of us as concentration objects, such as the breath, the body sensations, sounds, etc.
We bring the principles of Yoga in everything we do. We invite you to practice Karma Yoga by helping us with simple tasks of the house as fetching water from the fountain, chopping vegetables, drying dishes, etc.
About the facilitators
Katya found in yoga a way of life, a system for self-exploration, providing her with constant support on her path. Currently she continues to deepen her practice with teachers such as Matthew Sweeney, Boris Georgiev, James Boag among others. In early 2014 Katya underwent further asana training with Bharath Shetty and got a 500 RYT teaching certification (Hatha yoga, Vinyasa, and Therapeutic yoga). In 2009, she got her teachers’ training certificate from the International Sivananda Vedanta Organization. Later, after having spent three years working in yoga centers and ashrams from the same organization in Buenos Aires, Toronto, and Quebec, she took an advanced teacher training course in India (500 RYT).
Co-director of Casa Cuadrau, Dani is a yoga, meditation, and meditative hiking instructor and an ecological builder. Following several consecutive trips to India, he completed his yoga teacher training with Bharat Shetty (RYT 500). Dani’s meditation practice is based on Buddhist teachings received from Tich Nath Han (Zen) and S.N. Goenka (Vipassana). He has also developed his own open meditation practice with Open Dharma. Having studied technical architecture in Barcelona, Dani worked in the construction and theater industries, and also as a yoga instructor.
Claudie is a Qi Gong teacher trained and graduated in "Les temps du corps" in Paris, the National School of Qi Gong in Beidahe (China) and in the FEQGAE (European Federation of Qi Gong and Energy Arts).
She continues to train regularly doing internships with different teachers and masters of Qi Gong, such as Ke Wen, Liu Fa Fei, Zhang Guangde, Zhang Jian, Liu Dong, Liu He Bruno Lazzari, Alain Baudet, Tsultim Karma Namdak, Master Li Jun Feng, Li Yuan Li, Wang Zi Li among others. Se also has participated in a teacher training with the teacher Li Jun Feng and in retreats with Shaolin monks.
Since 2004 she is continuously offering workshops in the Pyrenees and in the Himalayas (Népal), because she is a lover of the mountains and nature.
