Raise yourself physically and emotionally and gain a broader perspective of your life.
There is a term in both yoga philosophy and Buddhist teachings called “Upeksha” that we believe is of utmost importance. Upeksha is part of the 4 qualities that any student or practitioner must develop if they want to move forward on the path of life. We could translate this term as equanimity. And in order to develop equanimity it is important to be able to take perspective of the situations that are coming up in our lives.
How can we take perspective?
A retreat is one of the best ways to do it, to raise your awareness, open your heart, and develop equanimity. With equanimity we can break down borders, limitations and have a greater understanding of ourselves and of the suffering and happiness of others. For this reason, we have designed a retreat in which we could share tools to “rise” to all levels:
RESILIENT RESPONSE: RATES ACCORDING TO YOUR POSSIBILITIES
We have created a Resilient Response for all: establishing prices based on your current situation. We have decided to change the formula for all our retreats. Now, the price of each retreat includes full board accommodation, taxes and insurance coverage in case of accident, as well as civil responsibility. The teachings and activities will be asked to be paid on a donation basis. This way, we make the experience accessible for everybody who finds themselves in a challenging financial situation. This is a great opportunity to cultivate generosity and trust.
All meals made with love in our vegetarian kitchen.
5 nights of accommodation (except the 'without accommodation option').
All taxes, public liability and accident insurance for activities: hiking and yoga.
4 guided meditation sessions.
5 aerial yoga classes.
1 tea ceremony.
3 guided meditative hikes.
2 meditative long hikes of half day in Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park.
Yoga asana classes are for all levels of practice. There will be an aerial yoga class a day that will include pranayama (breathing exercises).
You will find that practicing yoga with an aerial fabric swing is exhilarating and fun. You will be able to perform postures that would otherwise be difficult and even impossible, using the swing as a support. We will also have a different perspective, which means seeing everything upside down. A 100% recommended experience!
You will experience why Aerial Yoga is “special”:
* Not recommended for pregnant women, people with heart, eye and vertigo diseases.
Classes are progressive, variations are always offered for different levels of practice and particular limitations.
After long meditative hiking excursions, aerial yoga sessions will be smoother and more restorative.
Mariam is a lover of life and nature.
She studied Technical Engineering in Topography and although she enjoyed her profession very much, the practice of yoga was gaining space in her heart and gave her a new perspective on life … After years of practice in different yoga centers, she wanted to learn more and immersed herself in its study, obtaining the certificate of Yoga Instruction (AFDA0311). She decided to shift her professional life towards teaching to communicate her experience and enthusiasm for yoga. She also did a specific training in aerial yoga, to be able to safely and professionally direct the sessions with the swing, which is a great tool to facilitate or intensify the practice.
From her first classes as a student, to date, she continues to discover and enjoy yoga. She is currently expanding her studies with the training of Shri Vivek Yoga Coach, certified by Nirpeksha Sannyas Ashram (Khadana, India).
She likes to merge different styles of yoga, adapt the asanas to the students using props while respecting the body. Mariam facilitates self-listening through personal and intimate practice that favors connection with oneself.
In her classes she tries to transmit the keys and techniques for self-knowledge, personal evolution and well-being.
Meditative walks and hikes are esencial practices in our retreats. They are very simple and accesible for everyone. They help us to understand, through experience, our deep connection with nature.
It makes us notice in each step and in each breath, that the energy that exist inside us it is just the same as the energy that exists out there. Nature is our greatest teacher, silence and deep listening helps us enrich the experience She offers.
There will be a daily 90 minute meditative walk in nature, opening the senses and developing mindfulness.
Two days will be dedicated to meditative hiking, starting just after breakfast and coming back for a gentle yoga session. It is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the wonders of the the Ordesa National Park or surrounding areas.
Everyday there will be guided meditation sessions, in the morning and some nights before going to sleep. The best way to start and finish the day.
We practice simple techniques that are easy to carry on at home. We use universal elements to all of us as concentration objects, such as the breath, the body sensations, sounds, etc.
A moment of silence to connect with nature, with yourself and with the group. Sharing a bowl of “living tea” we deepen all the richness that dwells in “the way of tea” (Cha Dao).
We give ourselves the opportunity to make from something ordinary something extraordinary and full of meaning.
In Sanskrit, Sat means truth and Sang means group or community.
Satsang is a gathering to share our concerns, questions, and our deepest insights. It is also a time to meditate together, contemplate nature and sing meditative songs or mantras.
Karma Yoga is Yoga in action = finding skillfulness and integration in any action.
We bring the principles of Yoga in everything we do. We invite you to practice Karma Yoga by helping us with simple tasks of the house as fetching water from the fountain, chopping vegetables, drying dishes, etc.

HOW MUCH AND HOW TO DONATE?
At the end of your stay you will be able to value what you received and offer a donation, in cash or credit card, according to your possibilities.
We like this idea because it makes it accessible to more people and according to each person’s possibilities. It also allows those in a more favorable situation to help those in a more difficult situation.
Given that “the donation” can cause confusion, we indicate some suggestions for you:
Your donation will allow us to keep this project alive. More important than the amount you donate, is the intention with which you do it.
