Yoga, Singing and Nature Retreat with Tara Walsh

The heart of Bhakti Yoga

with Tara Walsh

- in collaboration with Casa Cuadrau -

October 10-17, 2026

Awakening through sacred chanting, breathing, devotion, and nature

An invitation to return to the sacred, to stillness, to your Essential Self.

Throughout our time together, we will work with various teachings of ancestral wisdom and body practices that involve the body, mind, and spirit, helping you connect with your nature: that part of you that is whole and at peace.

Each day will have...

Mornings will be dedicated to meditation, hatha yoga, and the practice of bhakti yoga.

The second half of the morning will include theoretical and practical sessions on the devotional arts of Bhakti Yoga.

We will dedicate our afternoons to meditative walks in nature, exploring the rich landscape that surrounds us. These walks bring us tranquility, a sense of timelessness, and peace.

There will also be an opportunity to delve into the landscape of breathing through dynamic and therapeutic breathing practices.

All these experiences are designed to help you open up to a broader field of consciousness, where your perception sharpens and you can connect more deeply with yourself, with the subtle layers of existence.

What does the retreat include?

Each day at the retreat unfolds at a leisurely and peaceful pace. There is no rush. The structure is solid enough to foster deep practice, yet flexible enough for each person to experience it in their own way.

Yoga asanas

Tara has been teaching yoga for over 20 years in both Spain and the United Kingdom. She initially trained in the Iyengar tradition and, over the years, has adopted a style of hatha yoga that combines warmth and wisdom.

Her asana classes invite you to develop a deep awareness and capacity for observation, paying attention to the body and breathing with discipline and delicacy.

There will be meditation every morning. The best way to start the day.

We practice simple and easy techniques so you can continue at home. We use universal elements as points of focus, such as posture, breathing, bodily sensations, sounds, etc.

Bhakti Yoga is one of the four paths of yoga, along with Karma Yoga, Jnana Yoga, and Raja Yoga.

Bhakti Yoga consists of cultivating a life of devotion and spiritual practice.

One of the main ways to practice Bhakti Yoga is through the recitation of mantras, sacred chants, and prayers.

Meditative walks and long hikes are an essential part of our retreats. They are simple and accessible to everyone.

Meditative hiking helps us understand, through experience, our deep connection with nature. It makes us realize, with every step and every breath, that the energy within us is equal to the energy that exists outside.

Nature is our greatest teacher. Silence and deep listening help us enrich the experience it offers.

There will be 2 meditative walks of 2-3 hours in nature, to open the senses and develop mindfulness, with Forest Bathing and creativity activities.

One day will be dedicated to a half-day meditative hike, departing after breakfast and returning for a gentle yoga class. This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the wonders of Ordesa National Park and the Sobrarbe-Pyrenees UNESCO Global Geopark.

A moment of silence to connect with nature, with yourself and with the group.

The tea leaf is considered a medicinal plant for the body and soul. The tea ceremony is an ancient practice in many cultures and is a way of remembering that disconnection with nature is not real. Tea is a dialogue between nature and human beings.

Satsang
In Sanskrit, Sat means truth, and Sang means group or community. It is a time to share our deepest concerns, doubts, and insights. It is also a time to meditate together, contemplate nature, and chant mantras or meditative songs.
